**Below are the 2019-2020 ACT and SAT test dates.  Please make sure to register by the registration deadline to avoid paying a late fee.  If you have any questions, please contact the student services center and we will be glad to help!

Student registration: www.actstudent.org About the ACT: The ACT contains multiple-choice tests in four areas: English, mathematics, reading and science. ACT’s writing test is optional and will not affect your composite score.

LVMHS encourages students to take the ACT at least once prior to the STATE ACT test date for 11th grade students on March 17, 2020.
 
SAT

Student registration: www.collegeboard.org About the SAT: The SAT has four sections: Reading, Writing and Language, Math (no calculator) and Math (with calculator). In addition, an optional essay is recommended or required by some colleges.
