Tad Russell

Tad Russell became the assistant principal at LVMHS in 2022. Mr. Russell taught science at Soddy Daisy Middle School and Howard Connect Academy and was a Project Inspire resident at Dalewood Middle School. He has been involved in many educational cohorts including Policy Fellows, STEM Fellows, and a Project Inspire Mentor. Prior to teaching, Mr. Russell was a groundwater scientist in Atlanta, Georgia. He has a B.S. of Forest and Natural Resources in Water and Soil Science from the University of Georgia, an M. Ed. from Tennessee Tech, and an Educational Leadership certificate from Carson-Newman. Mr. Russell is married with a precocious daughter. He is excited to continue the big opportunities offered at Lookout Valley.
